ISMM - A Strategic Alliance Serving Innovative Education

We are proud to have formed an alliance with the Maria Montessori Higher Institute (ISMM) since February 2024. Our goal is to work together to build an innovative and differentiating educational project based on the vision we share, in which education must encourage the individual development of learners, while at the same time contributing to the advancement of society as a whole.

The Maria Montessori Higher Institute (ISMM)

Founded on 25 February 1998 as a non-profit association, the Maria Montessori Higher Institute (ISMM) is a training center based on the Montessori approach to learning. The ISMM is one of two centers in France accredited by the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) and offers degrees and certificates recognized by Montessori schools throughout the world, including:

  • International Montessori Educator Diploma

The ISMM is an international training center that welcomes students from different countries and awards the Montessori International Diploma, opening many career opportunities in the field of early childhood education.

The "M 1824" Project: A Continuum of Learning from 0 to 99

Through our partnership with ISMM, we have committed to the "M 1824" project, set to begin in September 2026. The Association Montessori Internationale (AMI)'s ground-breaking, global project aims to apply Montessori educational principles to students between the ages of 18 and 24 and represents a first step towards providing personalized education for everyone from ages 0 to 99.

Promoting Educational Innovation

Within Groupe IGS, we share a common ambition with ISMM - building an innovative educational project based on an open approach to learning. By combining the ISMM's expertise in terms of educational techniques and our ambition to teach our students through experience, whatever their particular talents or background may be, we will be able to offer a learning method that is adapted to each learner.

"By bringing our expertise together, we have an opportunity to create an innovative educational project that will serve not only the interests of our respective organizations, but also contribute to the overall improvement of the French educational system."

Sophie Rouilloux, Director General of ISMM and Stéphane de Miollis, Director General of Groupe IGENSIA Education (formerly Groupe IGS)

Long term, our work together will enable us to spread the educational principles of the Montessori approach to learning to as many people as possible and encourage the individual development of learners of all ages, while at the same time contributing to the advancement of society as a whole.
